Can I get an iPhone with an insurance claim?

Please note that for SafeGuard Essential and SafeGuard Business customers, the Insurer will, at its option, repair or replace insured equipment and for SafeGuard Basic customers, the Insurer will only replace the insured equipment. The Insurer will only replace the insured equipment with a mobile handset at a cost up to the limit of liability.
This was in the fine print and my liability is $1650.00

Most likely not. If ATT doesn’t cover it through Ascerion then I’m sure Optus won’t either.
